Overview:

BearingPoint is seeking a motivated and experienced BearingPoint Lease & Rent Manager to join our SAP US practice. We are looking for an individual with strong technical and business skills and a commitment to excellence. A manager who will help clients realize the value of BearingPoint Lease & Rent. The successful candidate will have a track record of leading successful implementation projects, an in-depth understanding of leasing and/or rental processes with integration to SAP S/4HANA Finance, and the ability to assume leadership roles during the sale, implementation, and support of BearingPoint Lease & Rent. They will be responsible for providing functional and technical expertise to ensure project success, manage customer expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction in this role. It is also important that they can provide independent guidance and support to the customer and internal teams regarding complex Financial and Leasing business processes. Responsibilities:
• Build a trusting relationship with clients
• Deliver consistently high-quality client services
• Leverage existing routes-to-market within BearingPoint as well as their own network to expand the market for BearingPoint Lease & Rent in the US
• Manage BearingPoint Lease & Rent projects
• Lead the requirement gathering, solution design, blueprinting, testing, workflow and
documentation, as well as the functional design of the solution.
• Demonstrate strong business skills and in-depth technical expertise
• Supporting go-to-market strategies and successfully presenting the product at various marketing and customer events.
• Demonstrate the ability to incorporate new knowledge into thought leadership
• Work closely with stakeholders and technical team members to translate needs into business solutions
• Ability to present and negotiate effectively
• This individual will report to the BearingPoint US SAP Practice Leader
Requirements:
• Bachelors required; MBA preferred
• Employment location: Chicago, IL
• 5+ years of combined experience in supporting leasing and/or rental processes
• 4+ years of experience managing SAP projects or workstreams, including business and configuration experience with SAP Finance modules
• Good understanding in lease accounting requirements in US-GAAP and IFRS
• Experience in global solutions and deployments
• A leverageable network across SAP and/or industrial sectors is advantageous
• Ability to spot and seize opportunities to grow business
• Experience in writing complex functional specifications and configuration documents
• Knowledge of regulations, industry practices, benchmarks and evolving technologies and ability to research client challenges and market trends
• SAP Finance certification in S/4HANA private or public cloud edition
• The willingness to travel to meet the needs of clients; 80% of travel is estimated
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, make persuasive presentations, and provide quality customer service
• High business ethics: honesty, respect for the individual, culturally unbiased

The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $195,000.
