SAP Consultant/Sr. Consultant (Manufacturing Industry, Finance Leader)
About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant/Senior Consultant to support SAP finance across general finance, controlling, financial planning and tax management. As a member of the project team, you will be involved with digital transformation initiatives, fostering innovation, delivery excellence for engagements and practice growth. This role will assist SAP implementation or teams for RISE and GROW engagements, using SAP best practices, solution sets for the manufacturing industry. You will be involved in managing client relationships through effective communication and supporting project leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on SAP FI/CO implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, aligning with manufacturing business objectives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify financial process improvements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Provide SAP best practices and industry standards as a trusted advisor to clients and within the financial management competency practice.
- Provide support for SAP FI/CO solutions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Product Costing (CO-PC).
- Support SAP S/4HANA migration and digital transformation initiatives for finance planning and operations.
- Support pre-sales activities, lead/contribute to proposals and solution demonstrations.
- Assist with project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful SAP solution delivery.
- Maintain a knowledge of the latest SAP advancements, industry trends, and emerging best practices to contribute to practice growth.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Four to seven years of experience as an SAP FI/CO Consultant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and SAP CO (CCA, PCA, CO-PC, Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis).
- Group reporting and bolt-on financial consolidation solution experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and experience with SAP Fiori-based reporting is a plus.
- Experience with global finance operations, tax reporting, and compliance frameworks is a plus.
- Proven experience in SAP implementations within the manufacturing sector.
- Experience in RISE and GROW is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- SAP Certification in FI/CO or related modules is a plus.
- The salary range for this position is: Consultant: $81,500 - $123,000; Senior Consultant: $99,500 - $155,000
