As an SAP Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing large, innovative business opportunities, driving sales pipeline growth, and building strong client relationships, while ensuring the client understands the value proposition of SAP solutions. Key Responsibilities:
1) Opportunity Identification and Development
- Dynamically screen the market for potential opportunities.
- Identify and develop innovative business opportunities that align with SAP's business development strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to understand client needs and pain points.
- Develop compelling value propositions and business cases for potential clients.
2) Sales Pipeline Management:
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline.
- Track and report on pipeline progress and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure successful engagement and closure of opportunities.
3) Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client business goals, organizational structure, and culture.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing guidance and support throughout the sales process.
4) Thought Leadership and Demand Creation:
- Develop and deliver thought leadership content to position SAP as a leading provider of solutions.
- Generate demand for SAP solutions through various marketing and sales channels.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships.
5) Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product management.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in business development, sales, or consulting, preferably with SAP solutions. Have an existing SAP Network in Manufacturing Industries.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SAP marketplace and its future trends.
- Client Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to identify, qualify, and close business opportunities.

- The annual target gross compensation (OTE) is $300,000 to $333,000 (60% of this is base and 40% is variable pay – potential to earn up to 200% of variable pay).
