Business Development Administrator
The Business Development Administrator (BDA) will join an existing U.S. business development team and will report to the U.S. Partners. He or she will be responsible for selling advisory and technology implementation services working together with service lines and segment leaders including, but not limited to:
- Sourcing and Procurement Transformation
- CIO Advisory
- Jaggear Implementation (eProcurement)
- SAP ECC to S/4 Conversions
- CFO Advisory · Consumer Goods Retail Advisory
- Industrial Products and Manufacturing
- Sales & Marking Advisory
- Operations Advisory
- Data & Analytics and AI
- Environmental Sustainability
BearingPoint U.S. has successfully delivered technology and advisory services projects for both middle market and Fortune 500 companies across multiple service lines and industry verticals. The preferred candidate is someone who has strong connections with executives or procurement organizations across different industries.
The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a larger, national sales team as BearingPoint gains momentum in the selected Central and Northeast regions.
Salary is negotiable and will be highly based on individual sales performance. Key sales targets for the BDA position include:
- Number of quarterly qualified introductory/M1 meetings generated.
- Number of proposals created.
- Total net revenues including a minimum contribution margin target.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 to 5 years selling professional services and/or software solutions to companies with annual revenues larger than $1B.
- Demonstrated sales experience in one or more area(s) pertaining to BearingPoint’s core service offerings.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented work habits.
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, Microsoft Office Suite, internal finance, human resources, marketing, and sales teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to work with all levels of US colleagues.
- The ability to learn quickly, work independently and meet established individual and team sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in business or a related field or equivalent experience, Big-4 experience a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop relationships with C-level and senior executives for identified target accounts while demonstrating an understanding of their business needs and key priorities.
- Work with US partners and practice leaders to gain an understanding of BearingPoint’s core service offerings to ensure successful sales growth and development of assigned portfolio of priority accounts.
- Meet specific business development goals and booking targets of assigned accounts; report progress against performance goals periodically to US partners on a regular basis.
- Work collaboratively with BearingPoint’s U.S. practice leadership and marketing teams to create relevant Go-To-Market (GTM) content and key messaging required to generate new leads.
- Perform daily outreaches and timely follow-ups via emailing, cold calling prospective contacts at identified target companies.
- Assist with development of marketing campaigns and creation of cold call scripts.
- Identify and qualify new sales leads with prospective clients and coordinate initial introductory meetings with U.S. partners and practice leaders.
- Work collaboratively with U.S. practice delivery teams, Account Executives (AEs), and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) from BearingPoint’s technology alliance partners on execution of joint GTM sales or co-selling opportunities.
- Create, manage, and report all relevant sales information in BearingPoint’s CRM and supporting systems through the early stages of the sales process.
- Assist with proposal development, focusing on BearingPoint’s value proposition, key differentiators, and win themes.
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Commission structure in place.
