SAP FI Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FI Consultant to lead and support SAP Finance implementations and enhancements, with a focus on General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Asset Accounting. The ideal candidate will have Business acumen and be able to work closely with project business stakeholders to understand financial processes, gather requirements, configure SAP solutions, and ensure successful delivery of finance-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP FI module implementations and support projects across GL, AR, AP, and AA. · Conduct business requirement workshops and translate them into functional specifications. · Configure SAP FI modules to meet business needs and compliance requirements. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams including CO, MM, SD, and technical teams. · Perform system testing, user training, and post-go-live support. · Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and process improvements. · Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure timely delivery of project milestones. · Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 6–12 years of hands-on SAP FI experience, including full lifecycle implementations.
- Strong expertise in GL, AR, AP, and AA configuration and integration.
- Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and compliance standards (IFRS and GAAP).
- Ability to write functional specifications and work with ABAP developers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to lead workshops and drive business-driven configuration decisions.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- SAP FI certification is a plus.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in global rollouts and multi-country implementations.
- Familiarity with tools like SAP ALM, Fiori, and SAP Activate methodology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Salary is negotiable with a range of $81,500- 123,000.
